HEEEEEEELLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Blog.
June 7th. That is the last time I blogged. My oh my what has come about since then. Well most importantly I am no longer working for the family I was all of last year. I miss the girls some days but then I remember what all has come to get me where I am today. I now live in Kansas City MO. I am rooming with my best friend from childhood, Meg Doss and I couldn't be in a better place. I start a new job nannying twin girls and a 2 year old boy in about a month. I am an hour from my parents and Grandma, 30 min from my brother Dan and his family. 3 hours from my sister, Sarah and her family. Looking back on my the last year of my life, I exhale, take a sip of my coffee and thank God that I made it through. However, if offered a choice between going through what I did and opting out.. I think I would do it again. The lessons I learned, being close to my brother Jake for that short period of time and some of the relationships I made somehow make it all worth it. I would like to go back to Colorado someday. I miss the mountains and the sunsets behind them.
I flew my sister, Sarah out to Denver when it was time to move home. One of the first things we did after picking her up at the airport was go and get our nose pierced. Sarah's comment was "New life, new bling." We both have been talking about wanting it for a while so we just jumped the gun and went for it. I think we both are happy we did. Mine is annoying sometimes as it heals but overall I really love it. I think I finally have a lot to say in my life so I hope to find myself blogging again and having some good things to say. I am going to start an episode edition of Meg and Grace's life because quite frankly...it needs to be documented. I love how we live and I wouldn't change it for the world. Special guests include but never so limited to Colonel Maxwell Pickering. Our cat. Yes. A cat. We both hate cats yet somehow how this black fur ball has made his way into our lives and unfortunately..our hearts. We hate that we love him so much!!! Keep an eye out for these probably not so funny episodes to the readers but a hilarious reality for the writer.
