SNOW!!!!

I am currently watching the first snow of the year fall and I must admit...I AM STOKED!!!!

It started with cloudy skies this morning, turned into rain, then sleet and now the flakes are growing by the minute into big fluffy snow!!! It is BEAUTIFUL!

The girls are napping so I took advantage of making a cup of peppermint tea, putting on some Buble(My modern day, Sinatra) and dancing around the kitchen watching the snow fall. I am on top of the world.

I love winter. My perfect serenity is a cabin in the middle of the mountains where there is no facebook, no TV, just a good book, good company and plenty of coffee and cocoa. I drove to Grand Junction for the weekend so I got to go through the incredible mountain pass. So in perfect zen of serenity, my cabin would be in the upper hills of Vail.  My cabin would be a mix of dark browns, reds and whites with an occasional splash of evergreen. Perfection. So if you can't find me, I'll most likely be in my imaginary cabin in Vail.

I love being outside.  For some reason I love getting bundled up and going out when it is snowing. I don't necessarily need to be playing in the snow, just standing there as it falls around me. What a wonderful day of dreaming and wishing. :D Have no doubt, I am in a happy place this day.
