Ireland and Beta Radio

Two things on my mind that just won't go away.

So I recently had the urge to drop everything in August when my contract is up and travel the world. I was pretty set on it for about 36 hours. Unfortunately, these last six months has caused me to become "responsible" and try not to fly by the seat of my pants. Stupid maturity. So I have come to an agreement with myself that instead I will just go to Ireland. I want to travel again so bad. Its been like 9 months since I had a good hit of international travel. I am starting to feel the jitters.

Beta Radio is a new band my brother, Jake introduced me to. I must say, I am head over heals in love. Folksy and dreamy, they allow me to just close my eyes and allow my mind to drift away from the disaster that is my day to day life. Their sound is so melodious as I fall asleep that lately I have been dreaming of my childhood and people I have been out of contact for years have all of a sudden popped back into my life. Granted, I will give God the credit for those happenings, yet I still love listening to them. I highly recommend them to any and all who enjoy a good sound of soul music.
