I am the new Campus Club person for my community college so I have a lot of work to do to get people involved. This doesn't just have to be in my school though. Get co-workers, kids, friends, home school groups, any and everyone to participate. Its a global event and its gonna be incredible. The purpose is to promote children all over the world who go every day without shoes. A quote from Toms said it very well, "April 5th. I am going without shoes so kids don't have to." Its an incredible movement and its fun. I mean, everyone loves to be barefoot. Its a great start to spring.
For those of you who don't know how passionate I am about this company, let me inform you. One day I was on TOMS website because I was looking at their cool shoes and messing around on the website. I clicked on a link that said INTERNSHIPS. I thought, "thats interesting." Before I knew it, I was looking up available internships and deciding which one best suited me. Within a few weeks, I was enrolled in a local community college and taking steps to become a Public Relations major. This company gave me an edge to do more and dream more for my future than I though possible. If you're interested, check out their sight. You won't regret it.
